Today, construction materials for a Bend Area Habitat home average $65,000 per home.
Sponsorships for a BAHFH home combine these two requirements in ways that provide many opportunities for giving. While financial contributions are necessary to build houses, donors may choose to participate in construction or provide cash or materials only. Your generosity creates an opportunity for others to volunteer.
All gifts of time and money are welcome at BAHFH For those interested in donating labor only, Habitat only asks that your organization provide donations, if possible, to help cover the costs of construction materials for days you will be at the site.

Community Building - Your company and employees give back to the community in a way that is positive, active and makes a difference! In a tangible, hands-on way, you’re making your community stronger.
Team-Building - Many companies send small to medium sized teams to work together on home construction. Employees overwhelmingly report that raising a wall on a new home does more to build a team than sitting in a conference room watching PowerPoint demonstrations.
Tax Benefits - Because BAHFH is a 501 c 3 organization, your organization’s cash or in-kind donations are tax deductible.
Public Relations - Positive relations with the community enhance your organization’s reputation. Bend Area Habitat for Humanity (BAHFH) deeply appreciates your contributions and has developed a comprehensive program to show our appreciation. Here are some of the ways we support your affiliation with BAHFH:
- Website - Home sponsors are listed on our pages with hyperlinks to their web sites. BAHFH’s website is found at www.bendhabitat.org.
- Media Coverage - While BAHFH cannot guarantee media interest, we maintain excellent relations with the press. We are frequently featured on local television news and in print media.
- Newsletter - BAHFH publishes a quarterly newsletter mailed to donors, volunteers, homeowners and supporters. Our list of over 6,000 names includes many influential community leaders.
- Site Billboards - Home sponsors are also thanked at the home site with an onsite billboard.
