Are you good at multi tasking? Are you team oriented? We are looking for Construction Crew Leaders. No experience necessary and we will train you! Crew Leaders help manage and train fellow volunteers, while coordinating with our Construction Manager. Plan on supervising various aspects of the building process. This is a great opportunity to learn more about contracting and construction. Ladies, this is a great way to become involved! Crew Leaders need to volunteer frequently enough to keep up with the ever changing construction process. Habitat apparel and tool belt will be provided to those who step forward, so don’t be shy!

BAHFH is completing our 9-home development on Daggett Lane, This subdivision is called Vida’s Village, in honor of Vida Ray, our 96-year-old volunteer, in the office.

There are many volunteering opportunities available, including construction, office, committees, fundraising, special events, and at the reStore. The ReStore is our home remodeling outlet, located at 740 NE 1st Street, between Greenwood and Franklin.

All volunteers need to register online, by clicking on the VolunteerUP button on the left. Here are easy instructions for online registration.

We cannot accommodate children under 16 at the construction site or ReStore. Special arrangements can be made for groups. This Waiver needs to be signed and returned to the Volunteer Coordinator for all volunteers.

Volunteers at the construction site and ReStore need to watch an exciting 11 minute Safety video. Please drop by our administrative office located at 1860 NE 4th Street to do this. We have a Zero Accident Policy and please read this document before volunteering.
