We don't have to worry about the weather any more. Monday we will be inside #6 working on flooring. At least many of us will. Some will still be working on siding if the weather is OK. The most difficult job of the week was taking down the scaffolding on the north side of #14 wedged between the house and the neighbor's fence. The miracle workers who set it up had to set everything in at an angle. Taking it out at an angle was challenging. We had help from a couple of the hard-working college guys up from UC San Marcos. They brought a large van filled with energetic students who got to explore their aptitude for sheet rock hanging. They finished #14.
Board and batten siding was put up on the upper floor of #8 as it had already been on #14. Lower floor siding of Hardy Plank is up on about half of #14.
All of the under floor insulation is in on all 4 houses thanks to our huge crew of college helpers last week.
Now we'll be concentrating on the inside of #6. Finishing work is fun, too.
