This week we were very focused.  We came back on Monday to a foundation for # 18 -the Women Build - that already had footings and the forms were on for the stem walls.  That was really fast.  The concrete went in on Monday afternoon, the forms came off Tuesday morning and the joists went in.  Wednesday we left the site alone for the plumber and back filler.  Thursday was to be Peck's tubing and sub floor.  Friday will be plating and the chop list for windows and doors.  Saturday the women will be there to raise the walls.  That is just about as fast as it can be done and Glen deserves kudos for scheduling things so efficiently.
 
The rest of the week was spent in # 14 - The Anniversary Build - which will be dedicated a week from Saturday.  Flooring went in downstairs including backer board for tile.  The tile man came on Tuesday to start. Curt worked on light fixtures and the electrician was there all 3 days. The cupboards and appliances went in to the kitchen.  Decks were started by front and back doors.  Doors were in and baseboards were cut.  The upstairs will be carpeted, so I expect that is happening over our 4-day weekend.  We have to save 2-3 days for touch-up and caulking.  I do not know when the outside painting is scheduled.  Maybe that is going to be after the dedication.
 
It was a busy, focused week.
