The Women Build - #18 - continues to surprise us going up by large chunks between the time the Regulars leave on Wednesday and return on Monday.  Currently the roof on the house is sheathed and has the fascia up.  The garage and front porch trusses are up and the rest of the OSB on the walls is on.
 
We worked in #8 - the Faith Build - focused on the dedication on June 16.  The laminate flooring was going in concurrently with the kitchen cupboards.  The cabinets were donated by Moon Woodworking from their show room.  They are attractive.  Also the backer board for the extensive tile areas upstairs and down went in.  Upstairs entry doors went in where there will be carpet and the bedroom closet doors were hung; all the doors have to go back downstairs to be painted.  Baseboards were painted.  Hollis from Bend Heating spent the week with us finding the loose ends of the heating system's tubing and setting up a manifold under the stairs.  We had to cut an access hole there because of problems with the one usually cut in the entry closet.  I think an access under the stairs is a good idea.  There will be a wall access into the space.
 
So it will be interesting on Monday to see what new wonders appear on the Women Build and in #8.  I hope more baseboard material gets painted.  But the big news should be the landscaping that is going in on the Boyd Acres grounds for #'s 4,5,6,7, & 8.  I believe that's where the planning and work of some of our local school classes will be displayed.
