On Friday, February 6, a group of 30 men from the Thursday Morning Men's Group did a fabulous job of framing the Peter Built home. This group committed last summer to fundraise and build this home. The incredible news is that the men have fully funded this home. There was so much excitement and enthusiasm on Friday as they huddled together for instructions and prayer before they began the project. It rained on and off all day but that didn't squelch their determination to get the walls up for Krista Stewart and her two girls. These men have so much fun together. It was a great day of teasing and hard work. You could feel the bond that they have with each other. I have been honored to work with them. The men plan to have set work days at the construction site each week and are hoping to have a 'house manager' that will keep them on schedule.
