Clean Energy Service Corps

Bend Area Habitat for Humanity and Heart of Oregon Corps are recruiting young adults for a program called Clean Energy Service Corps.
Bend Area Habitat for Humanity (BAHfH) and Heart of Oregon Corps are continuing their partnership and offering the Clean Energy Service Corps program again this Winter. Beginning December for six months the program will train and educate eight local, young adults between the ages of 18-24 years. The CESC will train members in clean energy practices and construction allowing them an opportunity for employment in the clean energy industry. Interested young adults must apply for the program through Bend Area Habitat for Humanity or Heart of Oregon Corps between November 1 and November 16.
The Clean Energy Service Corps is an AmeriCorps funded program where young adults will earn a stipend and upon completion, an education award of $2675 to use for post-secondary education. Members will also have an opportunity to attend classes at COCC or work toward their GED’s during the program.
