Faith Builds

Since late 2004, Bend Area Habitat for Humanity has been supported by our faith community. Our circle of supporters has continually expanded to enable our ecumenical mission to support an annual Faith Build.

We feel it is important to do more than just talk or sing about love. We must put faith and love into action to make them real; to make them come alive for people...true faith must be acted out. -Millard Fuller

How do you volunteer?

Organize a group. Contact Robin Cooper to coordinate a build day for your faith group.
Come as an individual. Attend volunteer orientation. Sign up on Volunteer Up.

How can your church help financially?

Include Bend Area Habitat for Humanity in your annual mission's budget.
Collect a special offering to go toward the Faith Build.
Sponsor a portion of the Faith Build home.
In-Kind Donations of construction materials.
Creative community fundraising; host a benefit concert or carwash.

We broke ground on our first Faith Build in 2006. With generous support and involvement we have dedicated a Faith Build in our Silver Lake, Dagget, Blakely and Parkway Village communities.
