The House That Peter Built: On a cold morning on March 8th, Krista Stewart met the men that were going to build her home. Krista, already a habitat homeowner, had outgrown her 2-bedroom house, and now the men were building her a 3-bedroom for her family. The fellowship of 40 local Christian men, The Thursday Morning Men's Group, chose to step out in faith and commit to raising the funds and volunteers to build a home with Bend Area Habitat for Humanity. The men see partnering with the Habitat mission as a way to live out their faith by serving their neighbors. Since this commitment is a step of faith for the group, they chose to name the project �The House That Peter Built,� after Peter�s great faith. Because of their vision and commitment, we will begin work on a new home in 2009 and a wonderful local family will soon have a simple, decent, and affordable place to call home.

The Thursday Morning Men�s Group is an exciting gathering of Christian men who desire to live in accord with Scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit. The group meets each Thursday morning for prayer, fellowship, and teaching starting with music from our worship team. The

group has sponsored a missionary to North Korea, and has seen miraculous answers to prayers including instantaneous healings. There have also been healed marriages, freedom from gambling and drug addiction, and answers for economic distress. This group is open to all men, regardless of their faith background or their relationship with Jesus. Members attend several area churches. There is no denominational barrier to participation as the only qualification is to be a man seeking to live as Jesus would have men live in this age.
