Crook County Habitat for Humanity Steering Committee
 
 
Gerald Hillattended Mesa State College where he received a Bachelor�s degree in Business. He worked in human resources for 14 years in Salem, Oregon. In 2002, he moved to Central Oregon to work in the transporting industry in human resources. Gerald has been married for 15 years to Sonia and they have two children, Walker and Ryanne. He�s been involved in Habitat for Humanity in Crook County for almost 3 years, serving on the steering committee, presenting orientations, family selection committee, working on the builds and family support.

Jan Dobson works for The City of Prineville Public Works Department. She has been with the City for 8 years. Jan is also a mortgage loan officer and a real estate investor. Her family moved here from Portland with her husband Tim and son Derrick. Jan�s family has been a part of Habitat since November 2005. Two accomplishments with Habitat and the volunteers has been the build of a home for the Will family and the opening of the Prineville ReStore.
 
 
 
 

Jim Larson is married to JoAnne. They have two adult daughters and one granddaughter, all of whom live in Central Oregon. Jim was born and grew up in Portland, and graduated from Lewis and Clark College. He then spent four and one half years on Active duty in the Navy. After release from active duty he attended and graduated from Willamette University College of Law. In 1971 they moved to Prineville where Jim practiced law until he recently retired. Since moving to Prineville he has been active in numerous community service activities, including the Kiwanis Club, the Lutheran church, the board of Pioneer Memorial Hospital, the library board and as a member of the board and treasurer of the Crooked River Roundup. He also remained in the Naval Reserve until he had completed 20 years of service. He became involved with Habitat for Humanity in 2008 when he became a member of the Crook County Steering Committee.

Elva Madden moved to Prineville in January 2006 and became a volunteer with Crook County Habitat when the ReStore opened in June that year. She had previously retired from the position of Wheeler County OSU Extension Staff Chair, after 27 years in Extension positions. She has three daughters. Two, Brenda Comini and Glenda Lantis, are also Habitat volunteers. She served as Chair 2007-2008 and is presently Secretary of the Crook County organization.
