How to Apply for Crook County Homeownership
Crook County is now accepting applications year-round!

To get involved:
- Review the Homeowner Qualification Guide.
- Fill out and return the Preliminary Qualifying Application.

Once the Preliminary Qualifying Application has been turned in, you will be contacted within 2 weeks by the Family Services Manager who will schedule a mandatory (1 hour) orientation with you.

If you qualify, you will be given Part 1 (of the two-part) application.

Your application will be reviewed on a quartly cycle.See Review Dates Below. (You will be notified of acceptance/denial within 2 weeks of quartly review dates.)

Accepted applicants receive Part 2 of application by appointment. Part 2 applications due to the Prineville ReStore two weeks after receiving.

Home Visits completed within 2 weeks after receiving part 2 application.

Board meeting to review recommendations (last Tuesday of each month).

Families will be notified within 1 week of board meeting/approval.
