Bob Cudlin moved to Bend 5 years ago after a career in the energy industry including work at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the U.S. Senate and with several management consulting firms. He is one of our 'regular' construction volunteers helping to build Habitat houses three days a week and has been on the Board since 2007. He has BS and MS degrees in engineering and the juris doctor degree in law.

This weekend a group of 15 Central Oregonians and their family and friends will head to Guatemala for 1 1/2 weeks to build Habitat homes. Keep up to date of our travels by clicking below or following our trip on our facebook page.

Our construction site is empty on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and we cannot build homes without volunteers! So gather your friends, co-workers and family and pick a day to come out to our site! Click below to read more.

Today a group from the Temple Beth Tikvah volunteered to clear our new site at Park Way Village. About 20 of their members, including Max and his Grandma, fought the heat and brought their families to help Bend Habitat!

We will be hosting three Collegiate Challenge programs in the month of March. University of Portland, University of Washington and North Idaho College will all spend their spring break building Bend Area Habitat homes.

Linda's heart for not-for-profit organizations has included support for Junior League, Soroptimist International, Bend Parks & Recreation, the Tower Theatre and Sparrow Clubs USA. Steeped in premier banking experience, Linda brings financial acumen to the board and to the Family Selection Committee. Her personal interests include real estate development, cross-country skiing, hiking and kayaking.

Mark Huffman is the President and co-founder of Sage Builders, LLC. He has been constructing custom homes and townhomes for nearly 30 years. A two-time recipient of the Central Oregon Builders Association "Builder Of The Year" award, Huffman focuses mainly on developed communities in resort areas. Mark participated in the Bend Area Habitat for Humanity 2007 Blitz Build and has been an active board member for three years. Cooperating with BAHfH in their efforts to provide affordable housing and building safe communities is high on his list of priorities.
