How to Donate to the ReStore
Donations may be dropped off between 10am and 4pm, Tuesday-Saturday at our location - 740 NE 1st ST (between Franklin and Greenwood). We also provide pick-up service (gas donations gladly accepted), and can usually accommodate you within a week of a request. Please call 541-420-8100 or email receiving@bendhabitat.org for more information, and to make sure we are currently accepting the items you have.
WHAT WE ACCEPT:
ReStore accepts reasonably clean building supply materials, furniture, and major appliances in good working order, with no missing parts.
Due to the changing nature of our inventory and space, we must occasionally say "no" to normally acceptable items. Please call or email us to get the most current donation guidelines.
As a rule, we CANNOT ACCEPT:
dishwashers
computer & office equipment
clothing, drapes, small appliances, dinnerware, knick-knacks
musical instruments
paint (vendors only)
mattress & box springs
wood stoves manufactured before 1986 (need EPA certification)
aluminum windows
frameless interior doors
cast iron tubs
OUR DONORS
ReStore obtains 100% of its inventory at zero cost from a variety of sources in the community. All donations are tax-deductible. We would not be in operation without these special donors. Donors include individuals, contractors and commercial retail stores. THANK YOU to all of our wonderful donors � YOU help us keep over 25 tons of material per month out of our landfill, and assist Bend Area Habitat For Humanity to provide affordable housing to deserving local families.
